420HC STEEL

This is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Add our exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance we harden to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.

N°08 Stainless Steel + Sheath - The ideal kit.

The N°08 is THE versatile knife: essential during sports, bivouacs, it also is very appreciated for fishing and hunting.
With its alpine sheath that has a passing and a snap hook, it will follow you everywhere.

Blade length - 8.5cm

Sandvik stainless steal - We use Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge.

Yatagan blade - The classic Opinel blade has adopted a Yatagan shape. The Yatagan shape is inspired by a traditional Turkish saber, the toe up. The blade is ground to an exclusive convex profile that ensures the strength of the blade and allows efficient regrinding.

Handle - Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, our beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.

Safety ring - Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport)

1.EMERSON + KERSHAW MEANS TOP FUNCTION, FIT & FINISH

Kershaw Knives and Emerson Knives have joined forces on a series of knives that combine the precision engineering of Kershaw with Emerson's uncompromising functional design.

The CQC-6K features a modified clip-point blade for versatile cutting ability. The blade has two finishes: a satin finish on the upper and a stonewashed finish on the grind. The handle's front scale of textured G10 offers a secure grip and the handle's stainless steel back has a solid frame lock.

The CQC-6K is a manual opener using either the thumb disk or the patented Emerson "wave shaped feature." This opening feature enables the knife to be opened as it is removed from the pocket. By the time the knife has been fully withdrawn from the pocket, the blade is deployed and ready for use. A small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade is built to catch on the pocket seam, opening the knife as it comes out of the pocket. This instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.

2.THE POPULAR SHUFFLE—NOW IN BASIC BLACK

The Kershaw Shuffle has proven so popular that we’re introducing new Shuffles, including this slick, all-black version.

The Shuffle is a compact, versatile & tough multi-function tool. You'll like its compact size, manual opening, and discovering how useful that stubby little blade really is. You'll also like how nicely the finger contours fit your hand and how our K-Texture™ handle provides an extra secure grip.

The Shuffle has some additional tricks up its sleeve, too. It has a flathead screwdriver at the butt of the knife, which doubles as a lanyard attachment, and a handy bottlecap lifter built into the back of the knife.

The blade is made of made of a steel known for toughness and durability. The K-Texture handle—composed of a repeating pattern of the Kershaw logo "k"—is exclusive to Kershaw and enhances grip. A liner lock secures the Shuffle's blade open in use, but closes easily when its tasks are done.

As a utility knife, a work knife, or just a great multi-function pocketknife, the Shuffle is the right choice. And if you're into basic black, with this new Shuffle, you can't go wrong.

3.PREFER YOUR KERSHAW-EMERSONS ON THE LARGER SIDE?

Then we’ve got good news: the CQC-9K. It’s one of the biggest of the bunch and offers both maximum Emerson look-and-feel as well as maximum Kershaw build quality.

The big drop-point blade is 3.6 inches of black-oxide-coated 8Cr14MoV stainless steel for good edge retention, hardness, and wear resistance. There’s a slight recurve in the blade for enhanced cutting of rounded materials, such as rope, hose, or zip ties.

The handle is contoured to fit the hand (yes, even your big hand) like a glove. The front scale is textured G10 for a secure grip. The handle back is steel, black-oxide coated, and features a secure frame lock.

This manual knife opens with a thumb disk or the famous Emerson “wave shaped opening feature” that lets you open the knife as you withdraw it from your pocket. There’s also a convenient hole for a lanyard and the pocketclip is left/right reversible.
